Laura Welch McGirt

Laura Welch McGirt, CPA, currently serves as an Accounting Manager at MCNC since December 2020, previously holding roles as a Financial Analyst and General/Telecommunications Accountant within the same company. With extensive experience in the accounting field, Laura was a Senior Auditor and Staff Accountant at Langdon & Company LLP from June 2018 to December 2020. Additional experience includes positions as a Bookkeeper at My Guys Remodeling and Vision Security Consultants, and serving as Controller at Ministry Advantage from February 2009 to July 2016. Laura is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma since April 2018 and holds a Master's degree in Accounting from NC State University Graduate School, completed between 2017 and 2018.
