Michael Liu Su

Michael Liu Su is an experienced attorney currently serving as Counsel at McNeill PLLC since March 2021, where responsibilities include managing global patent portfolios for biopharmaceutical clients, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting freedom-to-operate analyses. Previously, Michael was an Associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP from September 2014 to February 2021, focusing on district court patent litigation in pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas. Michael also held positions as Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, Fellow at the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, and Clinical Student at the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, among others. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Genome Sciences and Life Science from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
