Erik Vogel

Erik Vogel is the VP of Advancement at McPherson College. Erik has over 10 years of experience in the biotech industry, working in accounting and product support.

Erik started their career in 2007 as an Accounting Manager at Ventria Bioscience. Erik was responsible for financial reporting, cash management, product inventory, month-end close, state and local tax reporting, grant fund management, and general ledger reconciliations. In 2008, they transitioned to InVitria where they managed the inside sales process and provided customers with account management, product logistics, technical support, and marketing solutions.

In 2013, Erik joined McPherson College as the VP of Advancement. In this role, they are responsible for leading the advancement team in meeting institutional fundraising goals through alumni engagement, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns.

Erik’s experience in the biotech industry has given him a unique perspective on fundraising and advancement. Erik is a strong leader with a proven track record of success in meeting institutional goals.

Erik Vogel reports to Michael P. Schneider, President. Erik Vogel works with Shana Warkentine Meyer - VP, Student Affairs & Dean of Students, Amy Beckman - Executive Director, Career Services & Experiential Learning, and Bradley Vogel - Director, Choral Activities. Some individuals on their team include Lindsey Kepka - Director, Annual Giving, Dave Barrett - Advancement Officer, and Kendra Flory - Advancement Assistant.
