Susan McPherson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Susan is the Founder and CEO of McPherson Strategies, a company that specializes in brand and social impact communications. Susan has worked with notable clients such as Dell, Ford, Nike, and more. In addition to their consultancy, they have authored a book called "The Lost Art of Connecting." Susan is also a member of various organizations, including the Leadership Now Project and The WIE Suite. Susan has been actively involved in the public speaking circuit as a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and moderator for the American Speakers Bureau. Susan'sprevious roles include being the Senior Vice President and Director of Global Marketing at Fenton Communications and Vice President at PR Newswire, where they managed CSR services, global events, and strategic accounts. Susan has also served on the advisory board of THE LIST, as a founding member of Kindred, and as a board member for The 19th.

Susan McPherson attended Boston University from 1986 to 1987, where they studied Broadcast Journalism. Susan later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Political Science at the University at Albany, SUNY. In August 2022, Susan obtained the ESG Competent Boards Global Certificate and Designation from Competent Boards.
