Elizabeth Baldacchino

Director, Orthopedic Business Development at MCRA

With more than 12 years' experience working with MCRA, Ms. Baldacchino is responsible for business development for the company's Clinical Research Organization (CRO) division. In this role, Ms. Baldacchino works with sponsor companies that would benefit from outside support for managing their clinical studies. She provides information on MCRA's clinical study management support offerings, including but not limited to study design, study start-up, IRB oversight and management, site identification, qualification, monitoring and management, project management, data management, CEC and safety management, statistics, and clinical trial reimbursement services. Furthermore, Ms. Baldacchino assists with budget and proposal development, client contracting, and is a point of contact to sponsors for the full project lifecycle.

Prior to joining MCRA as an Administrative Assistant in March 2007, Ms. Baldacchino served as an administrative support professional in other organizations. During her time at MCRA, she helped set up the company's first DC office location and provided general administrative support while also assisting with business development support functions. In her current role, her primary focus is on working with companies to identify needs for outside expertise and resources for managing their clinical studies.

Ms. Baldacchino received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Philosophy from Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD.
