Remon Samy

Joined MCV in December 2016 as an Executive Graphic Designer, and within the first 20 days participated in designing the first African bus model known as the "Black Diamond", targeted for the African market.

Promoted to Senior Graphic Designer after 4 years. In 2024, appointed as Head of Regional Bus Graphic Design Department.

Over 9 years, contributed to more than 1000 bus model designs, especially the "600 New Family" model. Led designs for major exhibitions such as the Hannover International Bus Show and initial designs for new models like "Apron" (airport bus) and "C127" (natural gas-powered).

Key Achievements

Advanced In-House Printing Implementation:

Contributed to the selection and operation of an in-house printing machine since May 2019, enhancing print quality, reducing external costs, and saving shipping time. Stopped external supply of bus signage, saving large amounts for the company.

In June 2025, contributed to purchasing a very advanced printing machine featuring white ink technology, one of the latest digital printing technologies worldwide.

Additional Projects and Contributions:

MCV Boards: Designed production boards illustrating productivity, current challenges, quality, and violations management.

Employee Photography Documentation: Coordinated photography of employees in official uniform per department, later used by the marketing department (2020).

Recruitment Advertisements: Designed recruitment ads on employee transport buses, achieving great success.

Volvo Plant Floor Planning: Organized worker movement and production lines.

MCV-Volvo Partnership Plant Planning: Managed planning of a 6804 sqm space including 20 main internal stations.

Landscape Area Design: Designed an attractive area for factory visitors in an unused section.

Visitor Guidebook: Developed a printed booklet to organize and facilitate visitor tours inside the factory.

Technical Files Development: Created new file formats to improve workflow and organization.

New MCV Training Center Design: Designed the complete graphics for the new training center responsible for onboarding and effectively training new workforce to enhance production efficiency.

Administrative Collaboration and Team Development:

Collaborated with MRP management to ensure timely supply of printing materials without production delays.

Trained printing team on design implementation, improving productivity.

Supported paint department development under Engineer Naeem Georgy, focusing on cost reduction, increased production, and time-saving through annual continuous improvement programs.

Annual Evaluation:

Achieved a performance rating of 95% in 2024, reflecting high-quality work and professional commitment.
