Kerri Rupert

Kerri Rupert, an associate with McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., is a highly skilled and experienced litigator handling nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, automobile accidents, premises liability, and all forms of personal injury cases.

Ms. Rupert is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She also attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she graduated with honors and was admitted into the Order of the Wig and Robe, which is an organization for students who attain a ranking in the top 15% of their class. Following graduation, Ms. Rupert worked as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to joining McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., Ms. Rupert was an associate attorney for a local civil defense firm where she defended nursing homes, medical providers, and insurance companies. She now uses those years of experience as a defense attorney to ensure the insurance company is properly handling your claim.

Ms. Rupert has participated in the pro bono appellate court project through the South Carolina Bar where she successfully argued before the South Carolina Supreme Court to overturn the conviction of her client. In 2018 and 2019, Columbia Business Monthly recognized Ms. Rupert as one of the Legal Elite of the Midlands for insurance law. Ms. Rupert was also published in the South Carolina Lawyer. She is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, the Richland County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice.
