Ramesh Gurram is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Multi Commodity Exchange of India. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Information Security Manager at Bank of Baroda from April 2018 to September 2021, where they were responsible for enabling business and digital transformation initiatives through cyber risk assessments and recommendations. Ramesh also led the secure migration program for tools, technologies and processes during merger/amalgamation, and headed program management for the successful implementation of advanced security solutions. In addition, they have also worked as an IT Security Expert at State Bank of India from May 2017 to April 2018.

Ramesh Gurram has a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Information Technology, and an MBA in Information Technology. Ramesh is certified from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance in DISA and CAIIB. Ramesh is also certified from Blockchain Council as a Certified Blockchain Expert. Furthermore, they have certifications from PEOPLECERT in ITIL and from the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ELECTRONICS & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (NIELIT) in Certified Computer Forensics Professional (CCFP). Finally, they are certified from (ISC)² as a CISSP and from ISACA as a CISA and as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
