Funnywati S. has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having worked at MD Entertainment since September 2006 in a role focused on creative and acquisition. Prior to this, Funnywati held the position of Marketing and Product Manager at Astro Indonesia from September 2005 to August 2006, and served as a Creative at Sinemart Production House for a brief period in early 2005. From October 1993 to December 2004, Funnywati was a journalist at Bintang Indonesia Weekly, specializing in writing and reviewing movies and TV series from various Asian countries, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore, along with covering telenovelas and conducting interviews in the Asian entertainment sector. Additionally, during the same time frame, Funnywati worked as a freelance translator for Chinese TV series and films.
