David S. Schaefer

David Schaefer, CPA CGMA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at MD Home Health/MD Home Assist since August 2023, while also owning and consulting at DSSCPA PLLC since July 2003, where services include accounting, systems, budgeting, forecasting, and general business consulting. Previous roles include Fractional CFO at DegreeSight, Vice President of Accounting at Solterra Companies, and Director of Finance at GPW and Associates, Inc. Schaefer has also held positions as Vice President of Finance at EMS LINQ, Chief Financial Officer at Colyar Technology Solutions, and Controller at Preferred Homecare, among others. Schaefer's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from DePaul University, a BA in Management/Psychology from North Central College, and an AA in Management from College of DuPage. Additionally, Schaefer was a Governing Board Member for Cave Creek Unified School District #93 from 2009 to 2016, including a term as Board President from 2010 to 2014.
