Denis Grizelj

Co Founder and CEO of MD Labs at MD Labs

Denis Grizelj was born and raised in San Mateo, California. He is a first generation Croatian-American and has many family ties both in the Bay Area and in Croatia still. Denis graduated from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo, CA and later went to University of California at Davis where he received his Bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics. After graduating from UC Davis, Denis went onto pursue a career in sales where he worked for Fortune 500 companies while demonstrating success along the way where he earned such honors as President's Club. From there, he found his niche in the medical sales industry which ultimately led him to the role that he has been in since 2011.

Since 2011, Denis is the CEO and Co-Founder of MD Labs, an independent clinical laboratory specializing in toxicology and pharmacogenetics based in Reno, Nevada. Denis oversees many of the business functions at the laboratory and primarily focuses on the financial aspects of the operation which include accounting and healthcare insurance billing. When he is not spending time in these areas, Denis also assists with the sales organization in bringing on new customers and ensuring that existing customers are satisfied with the services provided.

Denis still lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and kids. They are very active in the community and enjoy many of the local attractions and leisure activities. Denis volunteers his time both at his church and with his kids' sports teams as a mentor and coach. When at home, Denis and his family enjoy spending time with family and friends.
