Peter Anderson

Peter Anderson is a seasoned research scientist at MDA, where work since September 2016 has focused on a highly interdisciplinary, simulation-based project related to the biomechanics of the human airway. Prior to this role, Peter served as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of British Columbia for a decade, developing advanced fluid-structure interaction simulations and contributing significantly to educational efforts as a teaching assistant. Peter’s career began as a GIS Technician at Fireball, performing critical mapping tasks under challenging conditions. Peter holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
