Snezana Minic

Snezana Minic, PhD, PMP, is a seasoned expert in satellite mission planning and optimization with over sixteen years of experience at MDA, currently serving as a Technical Project Lead and Principal Systems Engineer. Snezana's work encompasses mission planning for satellite constellations and advanced systems optimization, significantly contributing to smart mission operations and disaster response management. Additionally, Snezana has led a research and development team in applying artificial intelligence methodologies to optimize resource management. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University and multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Belgrade. Prior roles include postdoctoral fellowships focused on discrete optimization and vehicle routing at Simon Fraser University and other institutions, as well as engineering positions at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
