Steven Payette

Steven Payette is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently serving as the Production Manager for the Industrialization Department at MDA Space, overseeing a team of approximately 60 individuals focused on New Product Introduction and methodization. Steven has a solid foundation in manufacturing and engineering, having held roles as Engineer II specializing in spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing, as well as a Junior Engineer in mechanical design. Prior experience includes engineering internships at Bell Helicopter, where skills in composite materials and manufacturing processes were developed, and research positions at McGill University in the Structures and Composite Materials Laboratory. Steven holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, complemented by foundational studies in Honours Science at John Abbott College.
