Hazly Amir

Hazly Amir has a robust background in cybersecurity and network infrastructure, currently serving as the Manager of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) since August 2025. Previously, Hazly held the position of Security Architect at Axiata Digital Labs from March 2023 to March 2024, and worked at TM Research & Development for over two decades in various roles, including Security & DevOps Lab Researcher and Back End Developer. A notable contribution includes overseeing CyberSecurity Program Maturity initiatives and participating in projects involving cloud technologies and data science. Hazly holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, both from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Achievements include certification as an Ethical Hacker and proficiency in technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and Elastic.
