Laura T.t. Ho

Laura T.T. Ho has extensive experience in the digital economy and legal sectors, currently serving as the Director of Digital Trade Ecosystem at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) since December 2001. Over the years, Laura has held multiple director-level positions focusing on digital trade, cross-border rules, and collaboration. Prior to MDEC, Laura worked as a Senior Manager in eCommerce and held various legal titles, including Head of Cyberlaws and Legal Department, showcasing a strong foundation in legal affairs, policy formulation, and regulatory compliance. Before joining MDEC, Laura gained experience as a Stockbroker at HLG Securities Sdn Bhd and as a Lawyer at Shook Lin & Bok, specializing in intellectual property, conveyancing, and corporate law. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge, a Barrister-at-law from Gray's Inn, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol, complemented by membership in the Malaysian Bar.
