Andrea Tilden, Ph.D., serves as Dean of STEM Student Opportunities and Director of the Pulver Science Scholars Program at Colby College, where the mission focuses on creating transformative STEM experiences for students. Tilden also directs the Linde Packman Lab for Biosciences Innovation and teaches a variety of biology courses, including Human Physiology and Cellular Neuroscience. As Special Assistant to the Provost for Student STEM Programming, responsibilities include overseeing innovative programming in collaboration with prestigious institutions. Tilden directs the Colby Achievement Program in the Sciences, aimed at improving access for underrepresented and first-generation students. Additionally, Tilden is a Director of Education and Visiting Research Scientist at MDI Biological Laboratory and maintains an artistic practice through ARTilden Designs. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and a BS in Biology from Alma College.
