Sadie Kuhn

Sadie Kuhn is currently a Research Coordinator at MDI Biological Laboratory, a position held since June 2022, where responsibilities include conducting and coordinating bench research for the MDI Bioscience initiative. This role involves developing high-throughput assays to detect environmental toxicants and evaluate molecular pathways, as well as screening novel drug candidates for efficacy and toxicity. Prior to this, Sadie served as a Biotechnology Research Fellow at MDI Biological Laboratory, working alongside Dr. Hermann Haller to explore zebrafish as a method for efficient pharmaceutical drug development. Sadie began their research career as a Microbiology Student Researcher at Colby College, where the focus was on maintaining bacterial cell lines and employing CRISPRi technology for gene manipulation. Sadie Kuhn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Colby College in 2022.
