Thomas A. Boyd

Thomas Boyd is the principal of Boyd Consulting, a company that creates drug development programs for small and mid-sized pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, designs and executes nonclinical drug development programs and regulatory-compliant project plans, and consults in other pharmaceutical and biotech issues.

Dr. Boyd received his A.B., cum laude, from Cornell University, and his Ph.D. in biology from Brown University. He was a postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physiology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at the Pennsylvania State University in Hersey. Dr. Boyd has over 25 years of research and management experience with leading pharmaceutical companies and holds two issued U.S. patents and four published applications in the fields of opioid-induced constipation, chemistry, and formulation development.

Dr. Boyd is an alumnus of the MDI Biological Laboratory.
