Tommi Ranta

Tommi Ranta is an experienced business professional with a diverse background in management and organizational development. Currently serving as Business Director and Managing Director at MDI - Part of FCG since January 2009, Ranta is also a Board Member and Member of the Supervisory Board at Etelä-Pohjanmaan Osuuskauppa since January 2020. In addition, Ranta has been an Author for Friction Free Community since April 2018, contributing to discussions on the digital supply chain and transformation within the manufacturing sector. Ranta co-founded Jakamo and worked as a Business Controller there from May 2012 to January 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Development Manager at Seinäjoki Technology Centre Ltd from January 2004 to April 2009 and Project Researcher at the University of Vaasa in late 2003. Ranta holds a D.Sc. in Management and Organizations from the University of Vaasa and an M.Sc. in Management and Organizations from the University of Tampere.
