Rick Geoffrion

Rick currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cyrano Therapeutics, a private company that has developed a treatment to restore the sense of smell and flavor in those who have lost it. Prior to Cyrano, he was the President and CEO of Mitralign, a company that developed a percutaneous valve repair system for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.

Rick has more than 35 years of management experience in the medical device industry with more than 30 years in the cardiovascular device space. Rick has previously led the company foundation and served as the CEO for four medical device companies (Mitralign, CircuLite, FlowMedica, X-Cell). He also guided the recapitalization and redirection of two other successful medical device companies (Impella, Pathway). Mr. Geoffrion has served as the Chairman of Impella CardioSystems AG, CircuLite and FlowMedica, Inc. He has also held executive positions at Invatec, PercuSurge, Boston Scientific, SciMed Life Systems, Olympus and Baxter. Rick has received a BSME and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
