Roya Zohrabi

Roya Zohrabi is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Managing Associate in Debt Finance at Mishcon de Reya LLP since January 2022. Prior to this, Roya held roles as a Senior Associate in Banking & Finance at Forsters LLP and as an Associate in Banking & Finance at Charles Russell Speechlys. Beginning a legal career at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP (now Dentons LLP) as a Solicitor in Banking & Finance, Roya completed a training contract that included seats in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Banking & Finance, and Property Social Housing. Earlier experience includes serving as a Contracts Officer in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Hertfordshire, providing legal advisory services, and as a Student Associate at LexisNexis UK. Roya also has a PhD Studentship with Parkinson's UK, focusing on research aimed at treating Parkinson's disease, and held a leadership role with the Nightline Association. Academically, Roya holds a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Course from The University of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science from the University of Essex.
