Rupert Melville-Ross

Rupert Melville-Ross is a Partner at Mishcon de Reya LLP since April 2023 and has been a Partner at Taylor Vinters since 2001. Rupert specializes in freehold and leasehold matters related to farms and estates, focusing on complex high-value transactions, including the largest rural transaction in England for 2022 involving an international purchaser. Additional expertise includes equine transactions, notably the largest stud transaction in decades, as well as renewable energy projects encompassing solar, wind, and biomass initiatives. Rupert also has experience in land disposals to developers, with a significant recent sale to a national house builder. Rupert holds a degree in French from the University of Southampton and studied at The University of Law from 1994 to 1996. Early education was completed at Uppingham School from 1984 to 1989.
