Steven Geerlings

Steven Geerlings is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Mishcon de Reya LLP since July 2022. Prior to this, Steven held the position of Consultant and later Partner at Dentons from December 2020 to July 2022, focusing on the development of the international asset-based lending (ABL) offering and structuring cross-border ABL transactions. Notable previous roles include Head of International ABL at DLA Piper from 2017 to 2020 and Head of ABL at Eversheds Sutherland from 2015 to 2017. Steven has also been a Partner at McGuireWoods LLP, Eversheds, and Squire Patton Boggs, as well as Director of Legal Affairs at GE Capital, and Senior Legal Counsel at Cedel International. Steven holds a Master's degree in Law from Utrecht University and is pursuing a post-doctorate at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
