Joe Hajjar, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering and business development fields. Joe is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at MDS, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Executive Vice President, Business Development at MDS from November 2013 to December 2021. Joe also worked as the Director of Systems Engineering at MDS from June 2011 to November 2013, and as Marketing Manager from June 2007 to June 2011. Joe's career at MDS began in July 2001, where they initially worked as a Project Engineer and later became a Project Manager until June 2007.
In addition to their work at MDS, Joe also gained experience as an Aerospace Engineer at Mechtronix Inc. from June 1999 to August 2000. Joe has also taken on leadership roles outside of their engineering career, serving as Secretary and later as Board Governor & Membership Chair at Camelot Golf & Country Club since May 2022.
Joe Hajjar, P.Eng. completed their undergraduate education from 1996 to 2001 at Carleton University, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Aerospace. Their focus was on Aerodynamics, Propulsion, and Vehicle Performance. In 2018, they attended McGill University for a Mini-MBA in Executive Development. In 2022, Joe completed an Advanced Management Course, Cycle 2, also a Mini-MBA, at McGill University.
