MDS Gas Turbine Engine Solutions
Martin du Toit is an accomplished professional in the gas turbine and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Business and Technology Program Officer for Hydrogen at MDS Gas Turbine Engine Solutions since February 2009. In this role, Martin focuses on business development and the commercialization of hydrogen technologies, leading projects to retrofit facilities for hydrogen burning gas turbines. Previously, Martin held the position of Manager of Systems Engineering, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of systems engineers and developing processes to enhance project performance. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Patheon, Project Manager at Jacobs Engineering and Construction, and Project Engineer at Entec Environmental Consultancy. Martin began the engineering career as a Mechanical Engineer at Noell Whessoe, designing storage tanks for the oil and gas industry. Martin holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Durham University.
