João Rangel Vieira

João Vieira is General Director of Operations and Information Systems for Portugal and Brazil, with the mission of keeping MDS in a prominent position in the customer experience, through technological innovation and operational efficiency. Degree in Business Management from the University of Évora, and Master in Management from the University Institute of Lisbon IUL ISCTE. He started his career at Zurich Portugal, where he took on various roles in the claims area, started as Controller, later was responsible for several organizational and operational transformation projects, assumed leadership positions in the area of ​​claims, operations, business intelligence, quality and supplier management. In 2015, after a two-month experience at Zurich Brasil in 2014. In São Paulo, he worked as Head of Claims Development & Delivery Latin America and in Santiago, Chile, from 2017 onwards, he accumulated his regional functions with those of Deputy Chief Claims Officer of Zurich Chile. In 2018, she joins Chubb America Latina based in Santiago de Chile as Head of Digital Claims and Personal Accident, Travel and Life lines. In January 2020 he joins the MDS Group, based in Porto, to carry out international responsibilities in Portugal and Brazil.
