Ana Cristina Borges

Ana Cristina Borges is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and compliance sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director at MDS Portugal since December 2014, Ana is responsible for International Business and Financial Lines. Additionally, as CEO of MDS Re, leadership encompasses overall operations in Europe and Africa. With a background that includes significant roles at MDS Africa, MDS Corretor de Seguros, and AIDA, Ana has demonstrated expertise in managing operations, compliance, and risk management. Ana’s career began with legal advisory positions in the Portuguese Ministry of Education and progressed through senior underwriter roles, reflecting a solid foundation in law and insurance. Ana holds a Law degree from the Faculdade de Direito- Universidade Clássica de Lisboa.
