Urko Nieto Margalli

Urko Nieto Margalli is an experienced engineer specializing in AI and machine learning. Currently serving as an IA Engineer at MDW since November 2023, Urko is focused on developing AI solutions in the Azure cloud. Prior to this role, Urko worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Tinámica from January 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included developing and implementing AI solutions as a Data Scientist. Urko began a career in data science as a Junior Data Scientist at Repsol from October 2020 to December 2021 and gained research experience as a Research Assistant Intern at Fraunhofer IIS in mid-2019. Urko holds a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Navarra, complemented by an Engineer's degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
