Einav Simon

Einav Simon has a strong background in research and development, with experience in both scientific and managerial roles. Einav started their career as a Staff Scientist at MeMed in January 2016 and worked their way up to become a Senior Scientist in February 2018. In November 2018, they became the Research and Development Manager at the company. From January 2021 to September 2023, Einav served as the Director of R&D Clinical Science at MeMed. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product at MeMed since June 2023. Prior to their work at MeMed, Einav was the Head of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory at Rambam Health Care Campus from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they led the molecular pathology unit, managed laboratory staff, implemented quality control procedures, and supervised medical students' research projects.

Einav Simon received a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2005. Einav then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Science from the same institution, completing their studies in 2011. In addition to their degrees, Einav also has certifications in GCP (Good Clinical Practice), quality assurance in medical laboratories (Iso 15189), recognition of medical laboratory work by the Ministry of Health, and TECA automated liquid handling system training.
