Fernanda Kagel

Fernanda Kagel has extensive work experience in project and program management roles. Fernanda most recently worked at Me & My Big Ideas as the VP of Strategic Initiatives and Program Management, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Program Management at Me & My Big Ideas, LLC from October 2020 onwards. From November 2018 to October 2020, they worked as the Director of Project Management at Goodwill Southern California. Before that, they were a Project Manager at Goodwill Southern California from October 2015 to November 2018. Fernanda also has experience as a Program Manager at Sagetel International from November 2005 to October 2015. Their earliest work experience was as a Family Services Facilitator at Baldwin Park Unified School District, where they worked from May 2000 to November 2005.

Fernanda Kagel obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Fernanda pursued an MBA degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix through online studies. In addition to their degrees, Fernanda also obtained certifications, namely an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University in December 2010 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2012.
