Tom Shaw

Tom Shaw has over 25 years of experience in finance and executive leadership roles. Tom currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Happy Brands starting from September 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Happy Brands from June 2019 to September 2020.

Before joining Happy Brands, Tom worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Southern California from July 2015 to June 2019. Tom also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Southern California from February 2015 to July 2015.

From 2012 to 2015, Tom served as the Chief Operating Officer and CFO at Fitness Anywhere LLC where they were responsible for TRX Training. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO at The Scooter Store from June 2011 to February 2012.

Tom has also held executive positions at Anchor Blue, Papyrus, and BEA Systems. At Anchor Blue, they started as the CEO/CFO in 2010 and was later promoted to Interim Chief Executive Officer. Tom successfully implemented expense and cash forecasting, resulting in significant cost savings.

At Papyrus, Tom worked as the CFO and also served as the Vice President of Finance. Tom spearheaded the marketing and sale of company assets and was responsible for leading internal finance and accounting functions.

During their time at BEA Systems, Tom held multiple positions within finance including Director of Treasury and EMEA Professional Services Controller. Tom managed global financial analysis, accounting, and budgeting for multi-national business units.

Tom began their career as an International Lending Officer at Comerica Bank in 1994. Overall, their experience demonstrates a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and executive leadership.

Tom Shaw graduated from Miami University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. Tom then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Miami University, which they completed in 1994.
