John Oconnor

John OConnor is an experienced professional with a diverse background in guest services, marketing, and coordination within the entertainment and service industries. Currently serving as a Guest Services/TVG Representative at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment since March 2013, John effectively manages significant cash transactions and customer service for a high volume of patrons daily. As the founder of Behind the Barricade, John published music news, conducted band interviews, and promoted artists, while also serving as an Alumni & Development Coordinator at Seton Hall Law School, organizing major events. Additional experience includes roles in marketing for Roadrunner Records and The Syndicate, sales at FSI Merchant Services, and laboratory assistance at Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners, all complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Business Industry from the University of New Haven.
