Ed Birkmire

Ed Birkmire has extensive work experience in the facilities management field. Ed is currently the Director of Facilities at Meadowood Senior Living since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at The Horsham Center for Jewish Life from December 2020 to November 2021. Ed also worked as a Project Team Manager at Dock Woods Community from September 2018 to December 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at The Hill at Whitemarsh, including Project Manager from July 2016 to May 2018, Director of Facilities from January 2013 to July 2016, and Chief Engineer from February 2007 to January 2013. Ed's career began as an Assistant Director of Facilities at Wood River Village from June 1994 to February 2007. Ed started their professional journey as a Maintenance Mechanic at Masonic Home of Pa in 1989.

From 1987 to 1988, Ed Birkmire attended the Philadelphia Wirless Technical Institute, where they pursued a degree in HVACR.
