Stephanie Messler

Stephanie Messler has extensive work experience in the senior living industry, spanning over 25 years. Stephanie most recently held the position of Senior Director of Personal Care at Meadowood Senior Living, starting in June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at The Manorhouse at Commonwealth as a Banquet Server/Banquet Captain for 15 years, from October 2005 to October 2020.

Stephanie also spent a significant amount of time at Holy Redeemer Health System, where they held various roles. From May 2017 to June 2019, they served as a Residential Experience Director, educating and supporting departments in creating memorable experiences for residents. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Administrator Lifecare from March 2013 to May 2017, providing supervision and oversight for the Life Care Admissions team. Stephanie also worked as the Director of Recreation Therapy at Holy Redeemer from November 2009 to March 2013, overseeing the Recreation Therapy department.

Before joining Holy Redeemer Health System, Stephanie worked at Genesis Health Care as a Dementia Program Director from June 2003 to November 2009, where they designed and implemented a recreation program for a dementia-specific assisted living community. Additionally, they served as a Recreation Director at Genesis Health Care from December 1998 to June 2003. Stephanie started their career as a Recreation Coordinator/Director at Victoria Care Center in August 1995 and worked there until October 1998.

Stephanie Messler obtained a Masters Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Penn State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Therapeutic Recreation from Old Dominion University from 1987 to 1992. Stephanie also holds additional certifications including Adult CPR/AED (American Heart Association), Personal Care Home Administrator (PA DHS), and Nursing Home Administrator (NAB), as well as being a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Nctrc).
