Melissa McKinney is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in addiction counseling and recovery support. Currently serving as a therapist at Purpose Healing Center since June 2024, Melissa has previously held various roles at Horizon Health and Wellness from November 2019 to July 2023, including Clinician I, Clinical Coordinator, and Dedicated Recovery Coach. With a strong background in group facilitation, counseling, and care management, Melissa has also worked with the Pinal County Drug Court team. Prior to this, Melissa worked at Jokake Construction Services, Inc. for over seven years in multiple operational roles. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, an Associate of Applied Science in Addictions and Substance Use Disorders from Rio Salado College, and a Master of Arts in Forensics Psychology from Argosy University-Phoenix Online, among other degrees in psychology and business administration.
