Christopher Araujo is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in mental health and public safety, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Health and Public Safety at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute since November 2019. Prior to this role, Christopher was the Director of Community and Veterans Services at Easterseals Central Texas from May 2017 to August 2019 and the Austin/Travis Co. The Institute’s vision is for Texas to be the national leader in treating people with mental health needs. The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute provides high quality, nonpartisan and objective policy research and development to improve mental health services in Texas. It’s about leveraging our resources statewide at a grassroots level – sharing best practices, making resources available, accessing information, building protocol – and then using that information to help those who need it most.
