Rebecca Tharp

Rebecca Tharp is a Senior Communications Specialist at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute since January 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Volunteer Staff member at Austin Film Festival in October 2024 and a Customer Care Specialist at Nordstrom from October 2020 to January 2021. Rebecca has also served as a Legislative Intern at Texas State Capitol and a Communications and Community Engagement Intern at Central Health in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Additional experiences include a Development Intern position at QC Entertainment and a Public Relations Intern role at Paula Biehler PR, both in 2019, as well as participating in the Red Carpet Crew at SXSW in March 2019. Rebecca holds a degree in Public Relations and Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2020.
