Vice President Of Systems Innovation And Veteran Integration at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute

Sean Hanna has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Sean began their career in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman from September 1991 to February 2000. After leaving the Navy, Sean worked as the Owner and Licensed Acupuncturist at Source Wellness from October 2006 to November 2009. Sean then moved on to VanDeWalle Chiropractic, where they served as a Licensed Acupuncturist from November 2009 to January 2011. From March 2010 to January 2011, Sean worked as the Executive Director at Stage Seven. In January 2011, they joined the Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care in various roles, including Director of Hope for Heroes and Director of Integrative Medicine, until August 2014. Sean then joined the Military Veteran Peer Network as the Statewide Coordinator from September 2011 to November 2016. Following that, they worked at the Texas Veterans Commission as the Director of the Military Veteran Peer Network from August 2014 to December 2016. Sean's most recent role is at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, where they first served as the Sr. Director of Veteran Initiatives from December 2016 to May 2022, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Systems Innovation and Veteran Integration starting from May 2022.

Sean Hanna attended the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Managing Complex Projects and Organization" from MIT xPRO in April 2023, "Data Science Essentials" from Cornell University in May 2022, and "Systems Thinking" from Cornell University in December 2020.
