Tim Bray has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Tim most recently served as the Vice President for Justice and Health Policy at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute since May 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Associate Commissioner of State Hospitals at Texas Health and Human Services from September 2016 to April 2022, where they were responsible for overseeing the operations of state hospitals and collaborating on policy initiatives. Tim also served as the Deputy General Counsel at Texas Department of State Health Services from September 2012 to August 2016, managing the Government Law Unit. Tim has also worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Texas Attorney General from March 2008 to August 2012. Additionally, they have experience as a litigation attorney, both self-employed as the owner of Bray Mediation & Consulting Services, and at law firms such as Devine, Millimet & Branch, P.A., and Taylor Duane Barton & Gilman, LLP. Tim began their career as a Law Clerk at the Superior Court of Massachusetts from August 2001 to May 2002.

Tim Bray completed their education in a chronological order. Tim first attended the University of San Diego from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Tim then pursued further education at the University of New Hampshire from 1995 to 1997, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology. Finally, from 1998 to 2001, Tim attended the Northeastern University School of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, specializing in the field of Law.
