SVP - Transmission at MEAG Power

Douglas Lego has an extensive work experience in the energy industry. Douglas began their career at Florida Power & Light Company in 1984 as a Service Planner, and worked there until 1986. Douglas then joined MEAG Power as the Director of Operations for Transmission and held this position for nearly three decades, from 1986 to 2014. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of VP & Chief Administrative Officer at MEAG Power, a position they held until 2023. In the same year, they were promoted to the position of SVP - Transmission at MEAG Power, where they currently work. In addition to their tenure at MEAG Power, Douglas also worked at Georgia Public Web, Inc. as the AVP - Business Development from 2001 to 2007.

Douglas Lego received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Florida Southern College in 1981. Douglas then pursued a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1984. Following that, they attended the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business from 2000 to 2001, earning a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology.
