Moritz Waibel

Moritz Waibel has extensive experience in the financial sector, notably serving as the Head of ESG and Sustainable Finance and Prokurist at MEAG from January 2012 to November 2022, with a focus on alternative assets including Private Equity, Renewables, Infrastructure, Forest & Agriculture, and Real Estate. Prior to this role, Moritz Waibel was a Research Associate at the Chair of Private and Patent Law at Technische Universität München from January 1999 to January 2001. Educationally, Moritz Waibel holds a PhD in Law from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2000-2007), a degree as Referendar in Law from Oberlandesgericht München (1997-1999), and additional studies at Technische Universität München (1999-2001).
