Amy Towery, CFRE, ACFRE has over 16 years of experience in the non-profit sector, with a strong focus on fundraising and development. Amy is currently serving as the Vice President of Development at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, where they have been since 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as the Chief Advancement Officer at The Out-of-Door Academy from 2015 to 2019. Amy also served as the Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Services at Del Mar College Foundation from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they were the Resource Development Director at United Way of the Coastal Bend from 2006 to 2011. Amy began their career at Metropolitan Ministries in 2003 as the Director of Annual Support. Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated their commitment to creating opportunities for a better life for all through their fundraising and development efforts.

Amy Towery, CFRE, ACFRE has a Master's Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from North Park University, which they received in 2014. Amy also obtained a Certificate in Nonprofit Marketing Management from North Park University School of Business and Nonprofit Management in 2014. In 1996, they earned a BS in Social Sciences from the University of Utah. Additionally, in 2005, they obtained a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University Indianapolis. Amy Towery has also earned the certifications of Certified Fund Raising Executive from CFRE International in March 2018 and Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-Global) in 2020.
