Michel Triana has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Michel currently serves as the Co-Founder & CEO of Mean Finance, where they are responsible for running the organizational structure of the Mean DAO and the economic foundations of the Mean Protocol. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Realdax from 2017 to 2021.

From 2015 to 2018, Michel worked as the Managing Director at Founder Institute, the world's largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program. Michel was also a member of the Technology Advisory Board at Barry University from 2014 to 2017, where they provided assistance in identifying curriculum updates and recruitment opportunities for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) degree program.

Michel has extensive experience in the technology sector. Michel served as a Partner, Technology at 1Apeiron (VC) from 2014 to 2017 and as the Principal, Research & Development (R&D) at JM Family Enterprises from 2013 to 2016. At JM Research group, they worked on developing next-generation technologies for the automotive industry.

Additionally, Michel has been involved in mentoring and advising initiatives. Michel was a Mentor and Advisor at Startup Quest™ in 2014 and a Software Solutions - Architect at Southeast Toyota from 2011 to 2013, where they provided technical leadership and strategic advice on software development projects.

Earlier in their career, Michel co-founded Paymesh in 2010 and served as the Co-Founder & CTO. The company launched a centralized payment network and was later acquired by NTT DoCoMo's NetM Bank. Michel also worked as the Lead Software Architect at Acquinity Interactive in 2011, where they built a billing engine to support payment operations for various web and mobile apps.

Michel Triana began their education in 2002 at the University of Havana, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. After a brief break in their education, Michel resumed their studies in 2010 at Barry University. Michel enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program with a focus on Information Technology - Software Engineering. Michel successfully completed their degree in 2012, concluding their formal education at that point.
