Guy Vijgen is a consultant in palliative care at IKNL (Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland) and a Specialist Ouderengeneeskunde at Meandergroep Zuid-Limburg. With extensive experience as an Elderly Care Physician at Sevagram from 1993 to 2015, they also served as a resident in cardiology at Atrium Medisch Centrum from 1990 to 1993.
