Kimberly Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development, marketing, and communications within the arts and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Development and Grants Officer at the Meany Center for the Performing Arts since November 2022, Kimberly focuses on enhancing community connections and securing support from foundations, government, and corporate entities. Previous roles include Community Relations Director at Borealis, A Festival of Light, where engagement in video projection mapping was fostered, and Marketing and Communications Manager at Rainier Scholars, emphasizing the importance of education for students and families of color. Additionally, Kimberly has held positions in marketing at renowned institutions such as Seattle Children's Hospital and Virginia Mason Medical Center, where strategic communication initiatives were implemented to raise awareness and support. Meany Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Washington fosters innovative performances that advance public engagement, cultural exchange, creative research and learning through the arts. Meany Center provides opportunities for diverse artists, community, students and faculty to connect in the discovery and exploration of the boundless power of the arts to create positive change in the world. Furthermore, our presence on the University campus opens doors for exciting cross-disciplinary partnerships to explore how the arts and creative practice can combine to forge powerful learning experiences. This program consists of four distinct performing arts series: Chamber Music, Crossroads, Dance, and Piano. Meany Center for the Performing Arts performances take place in Meany Hall, just off of Red Square, on the UW Seattle campus.
