Wilmar Meijer

Wilmar Meijer is an experienced professional in bioprocess technology and food microbiology, currently serving as a Bioprocess Technician at Meatable since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Lab Technician Drying at The Protein Brewery, where Wilmar focused on product development and hygienic processes, as well as Lab Technician USP/DSP at Eurofins, handling bioreactor systems and continuous process improvements. Wilmar also contributed to vaccine manufacturing at Janssen Vaccines as an Assistant Scientist. Earlier career highlights include positions at Bioprocess Pilot Facility B.V. and Unilever, where involvement spanned various fermentation technologies and product innovation. Wilmar holds a degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from van Leeuwenhoek Instituut and has additional training in GMP.
