Aaron Simard

Aaron Simard has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Aaron started their career as a 3rd Assistant Engineer at Central Gulf Lines in 2007 and also worked as a Watch Officer TSSOM for Training Cruise at the Maine Maritime Academy in 2008. Aaron then joined OSG Ship Management as a temporary 3rd Assistant Engineer and later worked as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at Central Gulf Lines in 2010. Aaron subsequently served as a Marine Engineer at Patriot Contract Service LLC in 2010 and APL in 2011. Aaron then became a U.S. Navy Port Engineer at Camber Corporation from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) as a Chief Engineer and 1 A/E. In 2020, Aaron joined Patriot Contract Services, LLC. as a Chief Engineer, and they currently hold the position of Chief Engineer at Schuyler Line Navigation Company since 2021.

Aaron Simard attended Maine Maritime Academy from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering.
