Arthur Chan is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Vice President Finance at Mechanism Ventures since 2020 and as Principal Consultant at Mercury Intelligence, Inc. since 2016. Previously, Arthur held significant roles including Vice President and Business Partner of Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis at Automattic, and Director of Finance at Mobify. Additional experience includes roles as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Payfirma, Senior Accountant/Consultant at KPMG Canada, and Designer/Developer at Polar Mobile. Arthur started a career in business analysis at Desire2Learn, complemented by a diverse skill set developed in operations and product management at Redwood Strategic Inc. Educational credentials include Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant designations from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, a Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
