Bill Carroll

Bill Carroll has served as the Communications Manager for Mecklenburg County since March 2003, focusing on enhancing awareness of county services and promoting citizen involvement through diverse communication strategies, including social media and targeted outreach. Prior to this role, Bill was the Managing Editor at Corporate Communication Solutions, overseeing a wide range of publications for national and international clients, and held editorial positions at Easton Life Magazine and The Star-Democrat. Bill’s journalism career began as a Staff Writer for The Kent Island Bay Times, coupled with a teaching assistant role in China. Bill holds a BA in Communications from Marietta College and a Public Management Academy certificate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
